Restarting the Optymyse Services

Restarting the Optymyse Services should be the first port of call when resolving issues.

If any of the Optymyse Services stop running for any reason the Optymyse Solution will not work. 

To restart the Optymyse services:

  1. Login to your Optymyse Server
  2. Click Services from the Start Menu or type services.msc in the search box or at the command prompt
  3. Once the Services box has opened single click on the relevant Optymyse Service from the list of services:
    Optymyse Connector
    Optymyse Display Service
    Optymyse Desktop Service
    Optymyse Mobile Service
    Optymyse DataPool Service
    Optymyse Edge Service
  4. Click Restart

Note: If you find there are problems with running services, please ensure they are not bound to the same port. Each service should be bound to its own port as per the Quickstart Installation Guide.

For Version 6 the default port bindings are as follows:

Edge: Port 80

Datapool: Port 8080

Display: Port 8090

Agile: Port 8100
