Display is full screen, unlike Desktop which is a 700x200px window.
When a display is added onto the Optymyse Software a unique URL is created, to view a screen you put this URL into the browser (Firefox/Chrome) on whatever device you are using.
1. Create Display instance and set resolution
(Note* 1 Display instance/session uses 1 Display license e.g. 3 display URLs = 3 licenses or 1 display URL used 3 times = 3 licenses)
For more on licensing view this article:
https://support.sjssolutions.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007547971-How-does-the-licensing-work-
2. Create a page at the same resolution as the Display instance
3. Attach the page to the Display instance
4. Click the URL for the Display instance to view the page or put the URL into the browser (Firefox/Chrome) on the hardware device you are using to view the screens
Always ensure your page size matches the size of the display you are attaching it to.
When you setup a display instance in Optymyse you need to ensure it matches the size of the page you are attaching to it.
The page templates we create are generally 1920x1080 resolution as this is the standard for most TV’s and therefore when you create a display in Optymyse that should be 1920 x 1080 also.
If your TV is a different resolution create a display instance at the resolution of your TV and resize the page you want to add to the display to the same size.
If the page has already been created at a different resolution and you try to resize it, you may get a message saying the page cannot resize because there will be elements (e.g. scrollers/multipages/labels etc) outside of the area, if so you just need to move (click and drag) the page elements (e.g. scrollers/multipages/labels etc) so that when the page resizes they won’t be outside the canvas.
